This spring, the Georgetown University in Qatar (GU-Q) community welcomes a new cohort of Desert Hoya Storytellers – a vibrant group of students ready to share their unique journeys and experiences. The Desert Hoya Storytellers program celebrates the diverse voices of
GU-Q students, aiming to inspire, connect, and engage through authentic stories. As the Spring 2025 semester unfolds, these storytellers bring fresh perspectives and remarkable tales of academic and personal growth, enriching the fabric of our community.
About the Desert Hoya Storytellers
The Desert Hoya Storytellers play a pivotal role in showcasing life at GU-Q. Their mission is to highlight the university’s academic rigor, dynamic extracurricular opportunities, and the rich cultural tapestry of its community. Through blogs and social media content, these six students will foster a sense of belonging and inspire prospective Hoyas to envision their own Georgetown journey. By sharing their stories, they illuminate what it truly means to be a Desert Hoya.
