Get Involved
One of the greatest things about Georgetown’s alumni community is how graduates remain involved with the University beyond their graduation day. Listed below are a variety of ways that you can get involved…and we are always looking for more. If you have ideas, please let us know by sending an email to guqalumni@georgetown.edu
Admissions
As an alumni, you are Georgetown’s greatest strength. Alumni are also our greatest ambassadors, working with the Admissions team and sharing their valuable knowledge of Georgetown and setting an example of academic success. Alumni involvement with Georgetown’s admissions outreach activities personalizes the admissions process for applicants and helps to spread the story of GU-Q.
Alumni help support the Admissions team at local college fairs and school visits by answering questions from students about their experiences at Georgetown and talking about what they have done since graduation. If you’re interested in getting involved, please email us at sfsqalumni@georgetown.edu
Student Club, Athletics, or Program Advisor
Were you involved with MUN or did you participate in sports while you were a student? Current students are periodically looking for a coach or mentor for their activities. If you are interested, please send an email to guqstudentlife@georgetown.edu
The Tawjeeh Mentorship Program fosters meaningful mentorship opportunities in our community through connections with GU-Q alumni representing a wide variety of career paths. Coaching and advice of friends and colleagues can provide valuable advice on navigating career decisions or in consideration of continued studies. We can help guide each other through these personal development crossroads by relying on the unique experiences that exist within our community in Qatar. As lifelong learners there is something for us to gain from every interaction, and we hope each mentor and mentee benefits from the connections made through the Tawjeeh Mentorship Program.

If you’re interested in serving as a mentor, or seeking a mentor please let us know.
