Employer Events

We invite employers to come to Education City and Georgetown University in Qatar to meet our students and alumni. Employer interaction with students and alumni can take various forms:

Career Fairs:

Hamad Bin Khalifa University (HBKU) and its partner universities in Education City, including Georgetown University in Qatar, launches an annual Education City Career Fair hosting local, regional and international employers from a diverse range of industries; creating a networking platform for employers to hire high-caliber EC students, and for the latter to meet their future employers.

Employer-led Skills Workshops:

Georgetown University in Qatar opens the door to organizations and businesses to develop the careers education of its students by teaching them exemplars of career practices. From resumes and application, to interview skills, or even providing insights about the employment market, or a particular industry. It is a free service to conduct a seminar at Georgetown University in Qatar. Contact the Careers team to find out more.

Employer InfoSessions:

Promote your organization at the heart of Georgetown University’s campus. Reserve a busy space on our campus for a stall or an interactive stand. You will need to be registered at our Career portal – Handshake to request reserving campus space. If not registered, click here.

Career Cafés:

A more relaxed and flexible setup that allows organizations and employers to engage with GU-Q students less formally to answer questions and find out what students are seeking.
