From wandering the vibrant Souq Waqif to learning about the country’s pearl-diving history at Qatar’s museums, each trip offers a deep dive into Qatar’s rich traditions. You’ll also discover the incredible diversity of Qatar’s community, with influences from all over the world enriching its cultural fabric.

Featured Trips

In previous years, we have taken students on immersive experiences to various iconic locations in Qatar, including Embrace Doha, the National Museum, Souq Waqif, Sheikh Faisal Museum, Heenat Salma Farm, the Museum of Islamic Art, Msheireb, and more!

Embrace Doha

Embrace Doha offers an authentic cultural experience in Souq Al-Wakrah, where guests gather in a traditional Qatari-style majlis to enjoy Qahwa, Karak, and try on traditional attire. The experience encourages open discussions, providing a deeper understanding of Qatari traditions in an interactive and engaging setting.

Souq Waqif Scavenger Hunt

Students embarked on a scavenger hunt through Souq Waqif, exploring its alleys, discovering hidden treasures, and engaging with local culture. The adventure took them through the markets, handicraft shops, famous icons, and historic sites, making for an unforgettable, hands-on learning experience of Qatar’s rich heritage.

Heenat Salma Farm

At Heenat Salma Farm, students enjoyed a variety of enriching activities. They experienced the traditional art of palm weaving, practiced yoga in a peaceful natural setting, and participated in farm activities like picking fresh vegetables. This visit offered a unique blend of cultural heritage, wellness, and hands-on learning about sustainable farming practices.

Dhow Cruise

The trip featured a traditional dhow cruise, where participants experienced authentic Qatari cuisine and breathtaking sunset views over the water. The cruise offered a mix of fun and relaxation, with games, activities, and plenty of time for bonding with friends, making it a memorable cultural and social experience.

Museum of Islamic Art

Students visited the Museum of Islamic Art, known for its iconic architecture and extensive collection of art from across the Islamic world. They explored exhibits showcasing the history, culture, and artistic achievements of various regions and time periods. The trip provided valuable insights into Islamic traditions and creativity. After the museum tour, students spent time at the adjacent park, appreciating the views of the Doha skyline and enjoying a relaxing break with friends.

National Museum of Qatar

Students explored the National Museum of Qatar, diving into the country’s prehistoric past, the history of Qatar and the Gulf, and its place in the global context. They learned about Qatar’s unique culture and traditions, as well as the nation’s rapid development from its early days to the discovery of oil and its rise as a modern state. The museum provided a comprehensive and engaging look at Qatar’s journey through time, offering valuable insights into its heritage and transformation.
