Career Services offers students and alumni assistance with career planning, job search skill development, on-campus student employment, and understanding the labor market.

Appointments

Virtual appointments for industry guidance, resume and cover letter preparation, general career exploration, networking, and practice interviews are available through Handshake. First year students can specifically book their assigned Student Assistant.

Jobs & Internships

Career Services connects you with job and internship openings and creates opportunities for you to learn about careers you are interested in.

Access Handshake

GU-Q Career Center uses a single portal to make it easier for you to access career support. Use Handshake to search for jobs & internships, keep up to date with career events, and book an appointment with the career services team. Alumni can access Handshake up to 3 years after graduation.

Attend Career Events

The Career Center holds events throughout the semester that help students navigate relevant career fields. These workshops include resume writing, cover letters, mock interviews, and a variety of employer information sessions, hosting employers from different industries in government, non-profit and private sectors.
