Eman Thowfeek is the Student Development Coordinator and has worked in higher education since 2018. Driven by a passion for fostering student successes and empowering students to reach their full potential she developed a keen interest in design thinking as she recognized its potential to create student-centered solutions.

In her role, Eman oversees a diverse portfolio including student employment, communications, the Georgetown Leadership Ambassadors, Diplomat for a Day and the Zones of Conflict Zones of Peace program. She believes in creating an accommodating environment where students feel supported and engaged in their learning journey. Eman strives to equip students with all the skills and resources they need to navigate their co-curricular pursuits and enrich their college experience. Before working at GU-Q, she worked in Human Resources. Her experiences have equipped her with the knowledge and skills she needs to successfully perform her duties.

Eman received a Bachelors of Science in Foreign Service, majoring in International Politics with a Certificate in Arab Studies from Georgetown University in 2016. She then earned her Masters in Design Management and Communications from Georgetown University in 2024.
