Book talk by Ibrahim M. Jaidah: Discovering Arabian Deco: Early Modern Architecture in Qatar
Indian Ocean Working Group presents Discovering Arabian Deco: Early Modern Architecture in Qatar by Architect Ibrahim M. Jaidah. The talk will discuss the architectural journey through the three most significant decades (1950-1970s) of urban development since the discovery of oil.
Ibrahim M. Jaidah is the Group CEO & Chief Architect of Arab Engineering Bureau. He graduated from the University of Oklahoma (USA) in 1988 and has acquired AEB in 1991. Under his leadership, the firm grew from 6 to over 600 highly qualified employees and expanded it's presence with branch offices across Middle East and Southeast Asia. In his professional career, Ibrahim has overseen completion of over 1,600 projects, making AEB one of the influential firms in the region.
