Nouf Al-Thani
Postdoctoral Fellow
Nouf Mubarak bin Saif Al-Thani is a Postdoctoral Fellow at Georgetown University in Qatar. She holds a J.D. from Hamad Bin Khalifa University, an M.A. in Museum and Gallery Practice from University College London, and a Bachelor of Science in Foreign Service with Honors from Georgetown University in Qatar (GU-Q). She is also a graduate of the Qatar Leadership Center’s Rising Leaders Program.
Currently, Nouf serves as the Deputy Director of Learning and Outreach at Lusail Museum, part of Qatar Museums (QM). Throughout her career at QM, she has held key roles, including Head of Partnerships and Head of Strategic Insights in the Chairperson’s Office.
At GU-Q, Nouf is deeply involved in interdisciplinary research, course design, and teaching. Her teaching focuses on collections, cultural diplomacy, and the role of culture in sustainable development. Her research interests include the representation and perception of Qatari culture, the intersection of heritage and urbanism, and the dynamics of cultural diplomacy.
