Visiting Jesuit
Father Jad Chebly, SJ, Saint Joseph University of Beirut (USJ) will be the Visiting Jesuit to our campus from January 8 to 21, as part of the Visiting Jesuit Program.
Father Jad brings with him a wealth of experience in teaching, spiritual guidance, and community leadership. He is the Director and Founder of Al Mazeed NGO, and has served at USJ in various capacities, including as Director of Campus Ministry. He has also served as a chaplain at Georgetown University’s main campus in DC.
While at GU-Q, Father Jad will lead several community activities and workshops, offering reflections on topics including Ignatian Leadership and Vatican Diplomacy. His visit will also include celebrating Mass on January 12 and 19, at 4 pm, in our campus chapel.
Father Jad’s visit serves as an opportunity for spiritual and intellectual enrichment and a means of building collaborations between our respective institutions.
