Georgetown University Achieves Top Spot in IR Rankings by Policy Experts

Georgetown University’s undergraduate programs in International Relations have been proudly recognized as the best in the field by policymakers and think tank staffers, and ranked third among international relations faculty, behind Princeton and Harvard. This prestigious ranking, part of the Teaching, Research, and International Policy (TRIP) Project at William & Mary’s Global Research Institute in partnership with Foreign Policy magazine, highlights Georgetown’s outstanding reputation for academic excellence. The ranking is based on surveys conducted with nearly 1,000 IR scholars, 294 think tank staffers, and 291 U.S. government policymakers from October 2022 to January 2023.
