A true statesman, H.E. Al-Kawari’s career exemplifies the power of diplomacy, cultural leadership, and public service. Over the decades, he has held significant roles as Qatar’s Ambassador to key countries, including France, the United States, and the United Nations. As Minister for Information and Culture, he championed freedom of information and directed cultural initiatives that have greatly enhanced Qatar’s global cultural presence. Dr. Al Kawari currently serves as the State Minister with the rank of Deputy Prime Minister and as President of Qatar National Library.
