GU-Q Doctoral Fellow

Sherie Gayle is advancing her PhD in Theology and Religious Studies. With her experience as an ordained minister within the Greater Baltimore Church, and Master of Theological Studies from Loyola University, Sherie has been a formidable advocate for women’s empowerment, especially for those from minority communities. At GU-Q, Sherie will teach The Problem of God, a course designed to provoke critical engagement with religion and theology, exploring the profound questions surrounding religious belief and its implications in a diverse, contemporary world. Sherie’s GU-Q faculty mentor is Akintunde Akinade.
